Bali Volcano Sunrise Jeep Tour to Mount Agung takes you to Mount Agung, Bali’s highest active volcano, without the need to trek. The journey starts with an early morning hotel pick-up from selected areas such as Nusa Dua, Kuta, Sanur, or Ubud. You’ll then arrive at the base camp in Sibetan Village. After a short briefing, hop into a 4WD jeep and ride through plantations and bamboo forests toward the viewpoint.
We use classic Daihatsu Rugger or Suzuki Jimny 4WD jeeps, each driven by a guide who also serves as your nature guide. Each jeep seats 1 guest in front and 2 at the back, with a maximum of 3 guests per vehicle. This small group setup ensures a more personal, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.
At around 1,100 meters above sea level, you’ll reach the Mount Agung viewpoint, where you can enjoy a campfire picnic breakfast while watching the sunrise over Mount Agung and the silhouette of Mount Rinjani in Lombok. After sunrise, take a short walk around the hilltop and the nearby lava village, shaped by past volcanic eruptions.
As the day warms up, you’ll descend by jeep back to Sibetan Village. The tour continues with a visit to a nearby Salak plantation, where you can harvest and taste fresh Salak (snake fruit) straight from the tree. The tour ends with a return transfer to your hotel in Ubud, Kuta, Seminyak, or other selected locations.

02.30am – 03.00am: Hotel pick-up from designated areas.
04.00am: Arrive at Sibetan Village base camp. Meet your guide for briefing and jeep preparation.
04.15am: Depart from Sibetan Village in your classic 4WD jeep. Journey through scenic plantations and bamboo forests, enjoying the natural rocky off-road thrills.
05.00am: Arrival at the Mount Agung Volcano viewpoint (approximately 1,100 meter above sea level). We will set up campfire to enjoy a picnic breakfast with coffee, tea, traditional snacks, boiled eggs, and fresh bread. Watch the stunning sunrise over Mount Agung and the silhouette of Mount Rinjani.
07.30am: Take a short trek around the hilltop to explore and capture photos of breath-taking surroundings of the ancient lava village, shaped by Mount Agung’s powerful eruptions.
08.00am: As the sun climbs higher and the day grows warmer, we will drive back to Sibetan Village.”
09.00am: Visit nearby Salak plantations. Experience harvesting fresh Salak fruits directly from the trees and savor their unique flavor.
10.00am: Tour concludes. Return transfer to your hotel.
12.00pm: Drop off at your hotel at Ubud, Kuta, Seminyak etc. Tour ends.
