A wonderful sight
Preferred to Mt.Agung, the other titan of the island, for its jaw dropping view and friendlier settings, Mt.Batur sits in the region of Singaraja, Bali, its head in the clouds and its feet in the eponymous twin lake. Declared part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Network in 2012, the volcano is grand for everything trekking.
A perfect trekking experience
The ascension usually takes place between 2 a.m. and 12 a.m., when all the condition are optimal. The area’s fresher climate and pure mountain air, combined with the wow-ing view are the perfect combination for an early morning climb. Why morning? For the sunrise of course! 02.00am: Morning call & pick up at hotel for drive to Mount Batur – the active volcano in Bali.
NOTE: Things to bring: Jacket, Sport Shoes, Sun Glasses, Water, Camera.
04.00am: Arrival at starting point, introduction and safety procedure briefing by our English-speaking Explainer/Tour Guide. And begin trek to Mount Batur to catch the sunrise at mount batur.
06.00am: Arrival at the summit crater, where we witness the spectacular view and sunrise. While there we enjoy refreshments of hot tea and eggs boiled in volcanic steam.
07.00am: Trek back to the finish point.
08.30am: Arrive at finish point and drive to you back to your hotel. Or, you can do this:
